My Celtic Star 50 from the Ome Banjo Company

I purchased my 1st professional level banjo 50 years ago from Chuck Ogsbury.  This year my wife gave me a 50th anniversary limited edition Ome Celtic Star 50 for my 72nd birthday.  It is a very special Celtic Star, heavily gold plated with a magnificent curly Walnut neck ~ my favorite neck wood!  It arrived

at our home on December 3rd, 2010.  Thank you Izzie and Tanya for giving me the gift of a lifetime!
