The "Midnight Special"

This new limited special edition Goodtime banjo will be serial numbered ~ marking it as a true collectable!  The sound of the Midnight Special  has been described as "a well defined golden sweetness, with a round bass resonance, and brilliant highs".  This special edition banjo is being made with a new hand-crafted red maple rim.  It is the perfect marriage of the red maple with the steel tone ring that gives players the increased response, clarity, and definition heard from the Midnight Special.

The Midnight Special comes standard with planetary tuning machines, a geared

5th-string peg, a "Vega-Style" arm rest, a flat-head tone ring, a bound resonator, and nickel-plated hardware.  The rock maple neck is stained in a stunning black with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and proudly bears a white "Made in the USA" star on its peghead.  The maple resonator is also stained in black with a striking white binding.
