The Blueridge BG-160 slope-shoulder from Saga is the latest addition to their "Historic Series". It is truly an industry first -- a perfect recreation of a vintage masterpiece at an affortable price! The BG-160 features a solid Sikta spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back & sides. Its famous 'soft-shoulder' design is one that is sought after by collectors and performers across the planet. The carved, low profile mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard and joins the body at the 14th fret with the traditional dovetail neck joint. It has a vintage shape Dalmation tortoise pickguard and open-back vintage machine heads with grained ivoroid buttons. The scale length is 24 3/4 inches and a lower bout of 16 inches for that deep warm bassy sound with just the right amount of highs to cut through the mix.
